I’m actually torn on this one.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

On one hand, if the replacement parts are in good shape it is a steal. But the homemade trailer looks small. I’m also pretty sure it’s not actually a home build. I have my suspicions about the boat having the correct weight distribution on the trailer as well.

What do the boaters of Oppo think?

Edit: a pic shows a ShoreLander sticker on the trailer. Not a homebuilt, however, Google image search shows nothing else on the web of the lead pic. The plot thickens.

Trailer was probably not homemade but someone lost the title or rebuilt it and it wa s easier to get it registered that way. Definitely looks small. Boat seems fine but rental anything can be scary. NPOCP? IDK.

Depending on the hours/condition, I would expect this to be going for twice the price listed.

Looks legit to me. If you are talking to a real person , with a real address, and a boat you can look at, why would it be fake? Now it could be stolen but that doesn’t seem likely if you are buying from a real person and the boat is licensed in their name.

Now a rental boat has lots of hours so I would not ex pect it to go for a premium. Ask him the address of where the pictures were taken. If it matches the view from google earth, it is real.

I think it’s legit and fairly priced. My bet is it is an original engine with a lot of hours. The outfitter I use has a v8 jet boat with like 20,000 hours on it. Ru n synthetic oil and they run for a long time. It doesn’t mean things like the lower unit or the valve train isn’t worn out, hence the price. But if you plan on only 20 hours a year, it might be the boat for you!!

Engine and lower unit have both been replaced.
